Behind every woman who walks through Sunlight Home, is a story of courage and behind every story of courage is a community of people who showed up.

Sunlight Home is a Christ-centered maternity program in Naples, Florida serving pregnant women and mothers in crisis. Our residents are rebuilding their lives from the ground up and they cannot do it alone. When you volunteer with Sunlight Home, you become part of that rebuilding. You become part of a family.

Hands-On Help

Hands-On Help

Our home is just that, a home. Like any home, it needs upkeep.

This type of volunteer support is perfect for: Individuals, church groups, corporate volunteer days, or anyone who is handy and wants to help support our mission.

  • Minor home repairs and handyman tasks
  • Painting and touch-ups
  • Landscaping and yard projects
  • Organizing and deep cleaning projects

Mentorship & Education

Mentorship & Education

Our residents are building new lives.
Your experience and encouragement can help light the way.

This type of volunteer support is perfect for: women of faith, educators, professionals, and anyone with a heart for walking alongside someone.

  • Tutoring (GED prep, college coursework, financial literacy)
  • Teaching a life-skills workshop (cooking, budgeting, resume building, etc.)
  • Mentoring a resident one-on-one (We are currently rebuilding our mentorship program. This would be for future consideration.)

Day-to-Day Support

Sometimes the biggest impact comes from the simplest things.

This type of volunteer support is perfect for: Anyone with a few hours to give and a willing heart.

  • Transportation help
  • Preparing or providing meals for the house
  • Babysitting during house meetings or resident appointments
  • Sorting and organizing donations

This type of volunteer support is perfect for: Licensed professionals who want to use their gifts to serve.

  • Cosmetology or haircare for residents
  • Photography for events or resident milestones
  • Legal consultation or guidance
  • Counseling or therapy services
  • IT, web design, or marketing support

What to Expect

VOLUNTEERING AT SUNLIGHT HOME

All volunteers must complete a brief application and a local background check before you can be approved to volunteer at Sunlight Home.

Volunteers whose role involve any interaction with the children in our home will be required to pass the Level 2 background check and complete additional training before they are permitted to serve in that capacity.
