Program Details

The Long-Term Empower Program at Sunlight is a comprehensive initiative designed to transform the lives of abused and battered pregnant women. As a pro-life organization dedicated to the well-being of both mother and child, our program provides a supportive and nurturing environment where women can rebuild their lives and prepare for a successful, independent future.

  • Long Term Program
  • Larger investment of resources in women
  • More restrictions
  • This is the classic Sunlight Home program.

“The goal of our Empower program is to provide our residents an opportunity to heal from the trauma they have endured and empower them to become productive and successful citizens and mothers.”

E.B. Yarnell

CEO, Sunlight Home of Collier County

    • We offer a safe, secure, and stable living environment where residents can focus on healing and growth without fear.

Parenting Classes:
      • Comprehensive parenting classes help mothers develop the skills needed to care for their children, promoting healthy and nurturing parent-child relationships.
Financial Planning and Literacy:
      • Financial planning workshops and one-on-one counseling sessions teach residents how to manage their finances effectively, create budgets, save for the future, and achieve financial independence.

      • Each resident receives a personalized case action plan based on their goals, outlining the steps and achievements needed to reach those goals. Regular reviews ensure they stay on track and celebrate their progress.
Childcare Provision:
      • We provide reliable childcare services, allowing mothers to focus on their education, job training, and personal development without worrying about their children’s safety and well-being.
