Mike Tarantino

Mike Tarantino has been the Chief Executive Officer for Action for Life Sunlight Home since December 2025. Prior to joining he spent 39 years with the Hertz Corporation holding various positions in operations and corporate. Most recently running retail car sales operations. Mike has extensive experience in Project Management, Toyota Production System (TPS) and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
In addition to his work career, Mike has 30 years’ experience in Christian Ministry including, Sunday School Teacher & Superintendent, Confirmation Catechist, Christian Cadet Leader, Youth Group Retreat Leader, Eucharistic Minister, St. Matthew House Volunteer and currently a Youth Group Leader at Anchor Church in Bonita Springs. Tarantino graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. He resides in Naples with his wife Carmella.
Dorely Carrillo

Dorely Carrillo joined Sunlight Home in 2024 and now serves as Executive Director. She brought with her over six years of experience in early childhood education, serving as a toddler teacher, VPK teacher, and eventually assistant director.
When the opportunity to join Sunlight Home came, Dorely knew it was exactly where God was calling her. Her heart for serving women in crisis, and her deep love for children made the transition feel less like a career change and more like a calling answered. Nothing, however, could have fully prepared her for how deeply she would come to love every woman who walks through the doors of Sunlight Home.
As Executive Director, Dorely leads the day-to-day operations of Sunlight with equal parts compassion and conviction. She believes every woman who walks through the door deserves to be seen, loved, and equipped to become who God created her to be.
Her favorite verse — and the heartbeat of everything Sunlight Home does — is John 6:37: “All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”
That is the promise Dorely carries with her every single day. If she could say one thing to any woman considering this program, it would be this: “come as you are! You don’t need to have it all together. You don’t need to have a plan. You just need to take the first step, and Sunlight Home will figure out the rest with you. We are here for you, and we will never turn you away.”
Lindsay Sieben

Lindsay Sieben is Executive Assistant at Sunlight Home. Prior to Sunlight Home, Lindsay worked in a production role for 7 years at Veterans United and their sister company, Neighbors Bank. She has degrees from the University of Hawaii and Willamette University.
She is wife to Jordan Sieben, a realtor in Naples, FL, and mom to two sons, Jack and George. Lindsay volunteers in the kids ministry at First Naples Church. She enjoys making soap and skincare products for her family, as well as cooking and reading her Bible.
Rayna Smith

Rayna Smith is the Resident Coordinator of Sunlight Home. She has grown up in ministry at her dad's church in Upstate New York--Blackwell Chapel, where she has been listening to him pastor since she was little. She has a passionate love for God, and had recently moved back home to continue strengthening her relationship with Him when He opened up the opportunity for her to work at Sunlight Home.
She could not think of a greater blessing than to witness the power of the women in Sunlight Home, and the sweetness of their children. Sunlight Home has been her first step into ministry, and she feels honored to be a servant to the Lord and His daughters.

BC Cloutier

BC Cloutier is Chairman of the Board of Action for Life Sunlight Home, which is focused on the sanctity of life from conception until natural death, including Sunlight Home, a place for pregnant women to reside during pregnancy and afterwards. He is also a real estate Broker Associate with at Parkline Realty in Naples.
Prior to his entry into real estate, BC spent 13 years in the digital space as an executive and founder of several online startups, all of which were sold to larger companies. Earlier in his career, Cloutier held executive management positions in the broadcasting industry.
In addition to his current service as Chairman of Action for Life Sunlight Home, Cloutier has served as a director of the Monroe Community College Foundation in Rochester, NY; as president and Finance Committee chair for Ronald McDonald House Charities in Rochester, NY; and as a member of the Professional Standards Committee of the Naples Area Board of Realtors.
Cloutier attended SUNY/Empire State University. He is a communicant of Saint Agnes Parish in Naples, where he is a Lector and chairs the parish’sannual Catholic Faith Appeal.
Cheri Connor

A Naples resident for more than 30 years, Cheri Connor is deeply committed to serving her community and supporting organizations that uplift women, children and families. She has been married to her husband, Barry, for 32 years, and together they have five children and six grandchildren.
Cheri has served with Sunlight Home for more than 10 years and now serves as Vice President of the Action for Life Sunlight Home board. She also serves on the St. John Neumann High School Advisory Board and is an active parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
She graduated from the University of South Florida with a dual degree in Psychology and Speech Pathology and went on to work for several years in Collier County as a speech therapist. She later continued her career as a recruiter and talent advisor with SWFL Career Connections, helping connect individuals with meaningful career opportunities.
Guided by her faith, family and heart for service, Cheri is honor to support the mission of Action for Life and its continued work in the Southwest Florida community.
Carolyn V. Bott

Carolyn has served on the Board of Directors of Sunlight Home since 2008. In 2012, Carolyn was elected President. Carolyn has appeared on various TV series and live streaming programs. She has been a keynote speaker at various pro-life events and has taught Abstinence classes to teens in conjunction with the Collier County Abstinence Program.
Carolyn’s prolife commitment manifested itself in her dedication to saving and changing the lives of the courageous mothers that choose life for their babies. Carolyn became a single mother herself overnight in 1974 at age 26, when her husband died in an auto accident. Pregnant with a 3-year-old daughter at the time, she truly has experienced firsthand the overwhelming challenges of single motherhood.
Prior to relocating to FL in 2006, Carolyn spent 30 years as a risk management professional in NYC specializing in entertainment, film, and sports insurance programs. She attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, and St. Johns University in NYC earning an undergraduate degree in communications and a professional degree in risk management insurance. Carolyn also provided risk management services Radio City Music Hall, Jim Henson and the Muppets, U.S. Tennis Association the NFL and the Superbowl, and numerous Advertising Agencies and their Commercial Independent Film Producers.
Carolyn retired in 2019 and she and her husband John live in Naples, and have 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, with a 4th on the way. Carolyn attends St. Peter the Apostle Church where she taught faith formation and sacramental prep and was on the Board of the Woman’s CCW Ministry.
Father Michael P. Orsi

Father Michael P. Orsi was ordained for the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey in 1976 and has a broad background in teaching and educational administration. Fr. Orsi has authored or co-authored four books and over 400 articles in more than 45 journals, magazines and newspapers.
He currently serves as Senior Advisor to the Board of Action for Life in Naples, Florida, and has served as Assistant Chancellor, Assistant Vicar for Pastoral Services, Director of Family Life Bureau, and Coordinator of Pope John Paul II's visit to New Jersey for the Diocese of Camden.
He has also served as a member of The Institute for Genomic Research at the University of Pennsylvania and as a member of New Jersey's Advisory Council on AIDS. Formerly the Chaplain and Research Fellow in Law & Religion at Ave Maria Law School in Naples, Florida, Fr. Orsi holds a Doctorate in Education from Fordham University, two Master’s Degrees in Theology from Saint Charles Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts from Cathedral College. He is a member of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars.
In 2005 Fr. Orsi was appointed as a Senior Research Associate to the Linacre Center for Bioethics, London, England. Recently, Fr. Orsi co-hosted a weekly radio program The Advocate, which discussed law and culture on WDEO-FM 98.5 in southwest Florida and hosted Action for Life TV on the southwest Florida affiliate of the Christian Television Network (CTN).
Among his many activities, Fr. Orsi serves on the Board of Directors for St. Matthew's House, on the advisory board of Sunlight Home in Naples and is a member of the Ethics Committee at Physicians Regional Hospital, in Naples. He can be seen every Sunday on NBC 2 and ABC 7 in "A Conversation with Father Orsi" which delves into current events and how scripture relates to many contemporary issues. Kathy Barnes

Kathy Barnes and her husband John live in Naples year around in Moraya Bay. She is a retired registered nurse who worked in the Detroit area in Pediatrics for many years.
After a Right to Life meeting, she became involved in special needs children and their families. She worked emptying institutions and provided foster care for many medically fragile children. In Florida, she is a volunteer and mentor at Community Pregnancy Clinic. Her nursing degree is from Henry Ford and BA degree from Concordia University in Ann Arbor. Kathy is a parishioner at St John the Evangelist.
Sandra Chancy

I joined the board of directors of Sunlight Home in the Fall of 2011 and became Secretary in 2012 and served for several years in that capacity. I am currently a board member. I was the founding president of Emergency Pregnancy Services in 1973, now called Community Pregnancy Clinics, and served in that capacity for several years. I had two little boys at that time. As my family grew and later, I began teaching, (and taught first grade for 25 years) I wasn’t as active, but attended functions and still do. I was also the second president of Action for Life. I have a very strong pro-life commitment. Our children grew up thinking that a vacation was going to a Right to Life convention. Four of our six children have been to the March for Life in Washington, DC, some of them several times. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Miami.
Kevin Gerrity

Kevin G. Gerrity is a lifelong fire service professional. In 1975 he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Serving as a civilian firefighter for the USAF and NASA after his enlistment, he was appointed to the Cleveland Fire Department in 1981. As a Cleveland firefighter Gerrity rose through the ranks, fighting fires and performing rescue services in many of the city’s busiest fire stations. He was awarded the Medal of Valor by the Cleveland Rotary Club in 1984. He was promoted to the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief and Assistant Chief, and appointed Chief of Fire over the 1,000+ member urban fire department in 1997.
Chief Gerrity retired from the CFD in 2004 and relocated with his family to Naples. He served as Director of Operations for Barefoot Security Services, a mid-sized local security provider headquartered in Naples and employing over 60 licensed security officers. He was appointed to a vacancy on the Golden Gate Fire Commission in 2009, and was elected to the position in 2010, and served on the board until 2022.
He attended Liberty University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with A Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Kevin and his wife Maureen have four children and live in Golden Gate Estates. They attend St. Agnes Church, where Kevin is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Kristina Heuser

Kristina S. Heuser, Esq. is a mother and devout disciple of Jesus Christ. She is a member of the worship team at Integrity Church in Bonita Springs and the elected Republican State Committeewoman for Collier County. She also serves as the Chair of the Congressional District 19 Caucus for the Republican Party of Florida. Ms. Heuser is an attorney, admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and several federal circuit and district courts, and a member of the Florida and New York State bars. Ms. Heuser presently serves as a Trial Attorney in the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, and prior to that was Senior Litigation Counsel for Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit organization committed to defending religious liberty, life, and traditional family values. Ms. Heuser was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Florida Southwestern State College by Governor Desantis in 2023 and continues to serve in that capacity.
Patti McKiernan

Patti McKiernan has a lifelong dedication to advocating for initiatives committed to empowering expectant mothers to make life affirming choices. Her passion for the sanctity of life and commitment to Christian service is rooted in years of active involvement within the Church and Catholic School community. Her belief in comprehensive stewardship drew her to Action for Life Sunlight Home.
Patti is an entrepreneur at heart with over twenty-eight years in the luxury markets. She has created her own companies, as well as consulted to help launch others, across the U.S. and Caribbean. As a founding partner, Patti successfully launched two wine brands, Spellbound and Medusa, in Napa Valley. She was Marketing Director for Art & Antiques Magazine in Atlanta, and Diamonds International, throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. Patti also had a Real Estate team in Scottsdale, and was consistently in the top 10% in the country.
Her experience modeling and acting for many years has helped to foster her love of travel and seeing the world. For the past 10 years Patti partnered with her husband, Peter, to create McKiernan Development, a Land Development and Luxury Custom Home Building company, in Texas. Originally from New Jersey, but always longing for the sunshine, Patti attended the University of Tampa in Florida, and although she has since lived in many places throughout the US and Caribbean, Florida has always felt like home. Patti now happily resides in Naples, with her husband, Peter, and their son, Maximus.
Bill Oppenheimer

Bill Oppenheimer worked for Ernst & Ernst, CPA's for 3 years after graduating Ithaca College with a BA in Accounting. Subsequently, he became International Internal Audit Manager with Reader's Digest International responsible for the Far East.
After a number of years operating his own real estate investment and property management firm, he became IT Support and Infrastructure Manager for the marketing consultancy Peppers & Rogers Group in Norwalk CT. Bill is married to Anne; father of two daughters and grandfather of five. Hobbies include sailing, swimming and home improvement.
Ben Weber

Ben Weber is an experienced educator and school leader who currently serves as Assistant Principal of Curriculum at St. John Neumann Catholic High School. He holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the American College of Education. Ben has volunteered at Sunlight Home since 2020 and is grateful to support its pro-life work through board service and hands-on projects at the home.
