Board of Directors

I'm a retired businesswoman and have been on the Board of Sunlight Home for 13 years, and President for the past 10 years. I fell in love with this ministry! I became a single Mom when I was 26 when my husband died in an auto accident. My family helped me in so many ways. We become a family to our residents who come from some pretty dark places and with the love of Jesus Christ, we can save and change their lives.

Carolyn V. Bott

President

I have been volunteering at Sunlight Home of Collier County since 2019. At the time I was looking for a charity where I could contribute my time and skills. In 2020 I became Vice President. My skills in the Real Estate industry for the past 25 years have been useful in my current role. I oversee fundraising for this organization and it is truly rewarding to see firsthand the impact we can have on the lives of these women and babies. I am especially grateful to be part of God's plan in helping to advance Sunlight Homes' mission in an ever-changing world.

Diane Zingali

Vice President

John and Barbara are both retired - John was an educator and real estate land developer and Barbara was involved in the sales and operations of an insurance company. We became involved with Sunlight Home thru our local church: Capri Christian Church. When we were asked to join the board we soon discovered that this board is very involved and hands on with this ministry. We love serving at the Sunlight Home as it allows us to do what Jesus asks of each of us in Matthew 25:31-46.

I am a stay at home mom with two young boys. I started volunteering at Sunlight Home because being a young mother myself, I understood how important it is to have loving support. I am grateful to have met the many women who have transformed their lives at Sunlight Home and I look forward to serving this ministry for years to come.

Theresa Weber

Secretary

After having raised five children and retiring from the practice of law, I began volunteering at Sunlight Home. I felt that I should give back for all the blessings that I have received in my life. I went on to become a Board member and have enjoyed working with such a devoted group. I continue to be touched when I see how these girls and women thrive in our program.

Patricia O'Brien

Corresponding Secretary

Each girl that walks thorugh our door is a true success story because she chose life... I am blessed to be part of Sunlight Home and have the opportunity to help build a vision of hope for their future.

Being on the board at Sunlight Home is truly a blessing to me to be involved with so many loving and caring people all there for the same reason to help the women and their little gifts from God. The true blessings I receive are being there interacting with the women and their babies as a volunteer at Sunlight Home.

Shannon Moro

I’m a retired teacher from Massachusetts who has had a life filled with blessings. I wanted to give back and Sunlight was a perfect way to do it since children and their welfare have been my life’s story. I hope I have been able to help in some small way.

I have been involved in pro life activities since 1974. I joined the board of Sunlight Home in 2011. Sunlight Home is a safe, Christian, loving home for women and their babies. And most importantly, in the process of providing that atmosphere, Sunlight Home changes lives.

Sandra Chancy

I began my involvement with Sunlight Home while working as a High School teacher at St. John Neumann Catholic High School. My students and I always enjoyed volunteering with the organization and when approached with the opportunity to join the board, I couldn't say yes fast enough! I now hope to continue serving our mothers and babies as a proud board member for many years to come.
