Q. How long does it take to hear from someone?
Generally, a member of our team will reach out to you within 48 hours.
Q. Does it cost anything to apply?
No. It is free to apply.
Q. At what point in my pregnancy can I come to Sunlight Home?
At any time during your pregnancy.
Q. How long can I stay after I have my baby?
It depends on the program you choose.
Q. Is it possible to work or go to school while at Sunlight Home?
Yes! We want you to become self-sufficient and grow into the best version of yourself throughout the time you are in our program.
Q. If I already have children, can I bring them with me?
Sunlight Home will consider pregnant or infants and their mother who also have another child under the age of 3 years old. Due to limitations on space and resources, we are unable to accept mothers with more than one additional child.
Q. Why do you ask your residents to give up their phones for 30 days?
Women come to Sunlight Home because there are toxic people and cycles impacting their lives in a negative way. The first 30 days at Sunlight Home is an opportunity for our residents to reflect on their circumstances and take the time to determine what they really want their lives to look like. We know it feels weird, but if our residents don’t take the time to cut out the negativity in their lives, nothing will change. We want our residents to learn how to prioritize themselves and gain the self worth to do what they need to do for themselves and their baby.

Q. How is Sunlight Home funded?
We are privately funded.
