SHANNON LIVINGSTON
Director of Development
Shannon Livingston is the Director of Development and Promotion for Sunlight Home of Collier County. Her experience in business, non-profits, media, and life helps her serve Sunlight Home’s mission of breaking the cycle of poverty and abuse for pregnant teens and women.
Shannon is a media personality in SWFL and uses her platform to help the maternity housing program at Sunlight Home. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, she and her son Joe have lived in Naples since 2007. She has owned and operated several businesses and now sells real estate, donating a portion of her commission to Sunlight Home. She has served multiple boards for non- profits such as Starability, United Cerebral Palsy, Special Olympics and Make-A-Wish.
She has been a radio host on 98.9FM, video host for NABOR and WCR, podcast and livestream show cohost for 239 Uncensored, and she emcees live events.
In 1992, at the age of 19, Shannon placed her newborn daughter for the first (legal) open adoption in Missouri, and has since been passionate about improving options for all mothers that choose to give birth and treating birth mothers with the respect and dignity denied them by the stigmas of society.

E.B. Newberry Yarnell is a multifaceted professional who has left an indelible mark in various domains of her life. A graduate of Shawnee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, she not only excelled academically but also exhibited exceptional leadership skills, serving as Student Body President during her time at the university.
Following her undergraduate studies, E.B. embarked on a year of service with AmeriCorps, demonstrating her deep commitment to community and public service. Her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others led her to pursue a Juris Doctor degree at Valparaiso University, where she honed her legal expertise.
E.B. made her home in Southwest Florida, where she distinguished herself as a criminal defense attorney, showcasing her unwavering commitment to justice and defending the rights of those in need.
Her journey took a significant turn when she married her soulmate and joined his law firm. Here, she broadened her professional horizons, practicing civil litigation and construction law with excellence and dedication.
Beyond her legal career, E.B. has consistently demonstrated her passion for community involvement. She has served on the boards of numerous local organizations, contributing her leadership skills and knowledge to these groups’ success. In 2022, she graduated from Leadership Collier, a testament to her dedication to personal growth and community betterment.
For nearly five years, E.B. has held pivotal roles as either Chair or Vice Chair of the Collier County Emergency Medical Authority, where she plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being of her community and its healthcare services.
E.B.’s unwavering commitment to community welfare led her to become the CEO of Sunlight Home of Collier County, where she has found a platform to utilize her skills for the betterment of the community and those in need.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, E.B. is a loving mother of four sons, and she regards motherhood as her proudest and most cherished role. Her diverse career, commitment to her community, and dedication to her family make her an inspirational figure, exemplifying the power of passion and purpose in shaping a remarkable life.
